അമേരിക്ക: അഭയാര്‍ത്ഥികളുടെ തള്ളിക്കയറ്റം അവസാനിപ്പിക്കാന്‍ മെക്‌സിക്കോ അതിര്‍ത്തിയില്‍ ഏഴ് സ്ഥലങ്ങളിലെ പ്രവേശന കവാടങ്ങള്‍ അടയ്ക്കാന്‍ ഉത്തരവിട്ട് ടെക്‌സസ് ഗവര്‍ണ്ണര്‍ ഗ്രെഗ് അബോട്ട് .
ബോർഡർ പട്രോളും കസ്റ്റംസ് ഡിപ്പാര്‍ട്ട്‌മെന്റും ഈ വിഷയത്തില്‍ തന്റെ സഹായം ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നതായും ഇതിനാലാണ് താന്‍ ഇത്തരമൊരു നീക്കം നടത്തിയതെന്നും ഗവര്‍ണ്ണര്‍ പറഞ്ഞു. അതിര്‍ത്തി സുരക്ഷയെ അവഗണിക്കുന്നതില്‍ അദ്ദേഹം പ്രസിഡന്റിനെ കുറ്റപ്പെടുത്തുകയും ചെയ്തു.
ഹെയ്തിയിൽ നിന്നും മറ്റുമായി 9000 പേരാണ് അതിർത്തിയിൽ ഒരു പാലത്തിനു കീഴിൽ തമ്പടിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്. തികച്ചും ദുരിതമയമാണ് അവിടെ കാര്യങ്ങൾ.
എന്നാല്‍ ഹോംലാന്‍ഡ് സെക്യൂരിററി ഡിപ്പാര്‍ട്ട്‌മെന്റ് വക്താവ് മാര്‍ഷാ എസ്പിനോസ ഗവര്‍ണ്ണറുടെ വാദങ്ങളെ തള്ളി കളഞ്ഞു. മെക്‌സിക്കോ അതിര്‍ത്തി അടയ്ക്കുവാന്‍ ടെക്‌സസിന്റെ സഹായം ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടിട്ടില്ലെന്നും അതിര്‍ത്തി അടച്ച നടപടി നിയമലംഘനമാണെന്നും അവർ പറഞ്ഞു.
ടെക്‌സസിലെ 35000 ത്തോളം ആളുകള്‍ താമസിക്കുന്ന നഗരമായ ഡിയോ റിയോയിലേയ്ക്ക് നിരവധി അഭയാര്‍ത്ഥികളാണ് എത്തിക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നതെന്നും പലരും രാജ്യത്തേയ്ക്ക് പ്രവേശിക്കാന്‍ അനുമതിക്കായി തീര്‍ത്തും വൃത്തിഹീനമായ സാഹചര്യങ്ങളില്‍ കഴിയുന്നുണ്ടെന്നും റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ടുകളുണ്ട്.
ഇവര്‍ക്ക് പുറമേ നിരവധിയാളുകള്‍ അഭയാര്‍ത്ഥികളായി അമേരിക്കയിലേയ്ക്ക് എത്തിക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുകയാണെന്നും വിവരങ്ങളുണ്ട്. ഈ സാഹചര്യം കൂടി പരിഗണിച്ചാണ് ഗവര്‍ണ്ണറുടെ നടപടി.
കുട്ടികളുമായെത്തുന്ന അഭ്യാര്‍ത്ഥികളെ തിരിച്ചയയ്ക്കുന്നതില്‍ നിന്നും സര്‍ക്കാരിനെ കഴിഞ്ഞ ദിവസം കോടതി വിലക്കിയിരുന്നു. ഡൊണാള്‍ഡ് ട്രംപ് പ്രസിഡന്റായിരുന്നപ്പോള്‍ നടപ്പിലാക്കിയ അതിര്‍ത്തി നയം പുര്‍ജ്ജീവിപ്പിക്കാന്‍ നേരത്തെ മറ്റൊരു കോടതി ബൈഡന്‍ ഭരണ കൂടത്തിന് നിര്‍ദ്ദേശം നല്‍കിയിരുന്നു.
കോടതി തങ്ങളുടെ കേസ് കേള്‍ക്കുന്നത് വരെ അഭയാര്‍ത്ഥികള്‍ മെക്‌സിക്കോയില്‍ കഴിയണമെന്ന് നിര്‍ദ്ദേശിക്കുന്നതായിരുന്നു ഈ നയം.
യുഎസ് -മെക്‌സിക്കോ അതിര്‍ത്തിയിലെ അറസ്റ്റുകള്‍ രണട് ദശാബ്ദങ്ങളിലെ എറ്റവും കൂടിയ അവസ്ഥയിലാണ് ഇപ്പോള്‍ നില്‍ക്കുന്നതെന്നതും മറ്റൊരു വസ്തുതയാണ്. ഓഗസ്റ്റ് മാസത്തില്‍ മാത്രം 2,08,000 കേസുകളാണ് രജിസ്റ്റര്‍ ചെയ്തിട്ടുള്ളത്.

Today America has become the laughing stalk of other nations. The leader's declining cognitive ability is widely visible. Take the case of the disastrous border crisis to the recent Afghan blunder and everything in between, one cannot look far to find the weakest link in the American chain. His military is blind.
