THE FALLEN ANGELS

Twenty little angels
Aged six to seven
Went to school
On a Friday morning

By 9.36 DEATH came clad
Robed in dark
With pistols and rifle
(After killing his own mother)

Broke into the garden of angels
Where they lauged and played-
"London bridge is falling down
London bridge is falling down"

One little angel has fallen down
Two little angels has fallen down
One by one, all twenty has fallen down
Fallen down, fallen down

Never knew what they did wrong
Never knew what life is like
Never knew what death is like
Never got a kiss from their loved ones

All twenty little angels
Never will open their eyes
Never will take another breath
Fluttered their little wings and flew away

You BLACK FRIDAY
Get away from us with your dark robes
Please don't visit us ever again
Not even in our darkest dreams

For you, Little angels,
LIFE was nothing but an empty shadow
Clad in black moving fast and furious
And narrating a senseless mini story

(A poem by Joseph Nambimadam in memory of the twenty Elementary school kids who where shot to death by a twenty year old kid in Sandy Hook,Newtown Connecticut on December 14,2012)
