അസോസിയേഷന്റെ അംഗത്വം: ഫോമാ പ്രശ്‌നത്തിലേക്കു നീങ്ങുന്നു

ഫോമാ പ്രശ്‌നത്തിലേക്കു നീങ്ങുന്നു. ഇത്രയും കാലം കാത്ത ഐക്യം ഭിന്നതക്കു വഴി മാറുന്നു.
സ്റ്റാറ്റന്‍ ഐലന്‍ഡ് മലയാളി അസോസിയേഷന്റെ അംഗത്വം തെരെഞ്ഞെടുപ്പിനെ ബാധിക്കുന്ന പ്രശ്‌നമായി. ഇലക്ഷന്‍ കമ്മീഷന്റെ തീരുമാനം ചോദ്യം ചെയ്യപ്പെടുമെന്നുറപ്പാണ്.
ഫോമായില്‍ അംഗത്വം പുതുക്കാന്‍ മെയ് 12-നു മുന്‍പ് അപേക്ഷയും ചെക്കും സെക്രട്ടറിക്ക് കിട്ടിയിരിക്കണം എന്നാണു സര്‍ക്കുലറില്‍ പറഞ്ഞത്. (see below) അതിനു ശേഷം ഏതെങ്കിലും ഡലിഗേറ്റിനെ മാറ്റണമെങ്കില്‍ മെയ് 22 വരെ അതു ചെയ്യാമെന്നു മാത്രം.
സ്റ്റാറ്റന്‍ ഐലന്‍ഡ് മലയാളി അസോസിയേഷന്‍ ചെക്ക് അയച്ചത് മെയ് 18-നു ആണെന്നു അവര്‍ തന്നെ സമ്മതിക്കുന്നു. അതാകട്ടെ സെക്രട്ടറിക്കു കിട്ടിയുമില്ല.
നിയമം എല്ലാവര്‍ക്കും ഒരു പോലെയാകണമെന്നു പ്രവര്‍ത്തകര്‍ ചൂണ്ടിക്കാണിക്കുന്നു. ഇഷ്ടം പോലെ നിയമം വളച്ചൊടിക്കാന്‍ പാടില്ലെന്നവര്‍ പറയുന്നു. കോടതിയില്‍ വരെ പ്രശ്‌നം ചെല്ലില്ല എന്നു ഉറപ്പിക്കാന്‍ പറ്റാത്ത സ്ഥിതിയാണിപ്പോള്‍.

The member associations are eligible to endorse seven (7) delegates to attend the FOMAA General Body & General Election. Please find attached the delegate forms for General Body / General Election and delegates for the National Advisory Council for your kind reference. Also attached is the FOMAA Membership Renewal form which has to be filled and sent along with $100 Biennial Membership fee. The membership fee check has to be from the member organization account and the check should say the organization name. Kindly note that without the membership renewal, the delegate list is not valid and your association representatives will not be eligible to attend the General Body. Please be advised that the deadline to submit the delegate list & membership renewal fee is May 12, 2018. സത്യം പറഞ്ഞാല്‍ അമ്മയെ അപ്പന്‍ തല്ലും. സത്യം പറഞ്ഞില്ലെങ്കില്‍ അപ്പന്‍ പട്ടിയിറച്ചി തിന്നും.
ഈ അവസ്ഥയിലാണു ഇലക്ഷന്‍ കമ്മീഷന്‍. സാരമില്ല. സ്ഥാനര്‍ഥിത്വം അംഗീകരിക്കുക. നമുക്ക് ഒരു കേസ് കൂടി പോകാം

MEMBERSHIP

4. Membership Fee:

b. The membership shall be valid from October 01

st to September 30th of the following year.

c. Membership fees are payable in the name of FOMAA within Ninety (90) days from the beginning of the Federation's fiscal year on October 01st . During this period, all the members of the previous year shall be considered as fully paid members. All payments shall be in the form of an official bank check. Personal checks are not accepted for membership purpose. After this date, members' voting rights may be suspended until the payment is received. The Treasurer shall send the

membership fee payment notices to all members on file and attempt to collect the fees during this period.

ഒന്നും നടക്കാൻ പോകുന്നില്ല. ഏല്ലാ പ്രശ്നവും പരിഹരിക്കപ്പെട്ടു.ഫോമ ഒറ്റക്കെട്ടായി മുമ്പോട്ട് ശക്തമായി പോകും. ജനാധിപത്യ പ്രക്രിയയിലെ ചില പ്രശ്നങ്ങൾ മാത്രം ഇവിടെയും. ഫോമയാണ് നമ്മുടെ സംഘടന, നമ്മൾ ഫോമയിലെ സ്ഥാനാർത്ഥികൾ, ഫോമയാണ് നമ്മുടെ പാനൽ. ആരു ജയിച്ചാലും നമ്മൾ ഏല്ലാവരും ഒരുമിച്ച് നമ്മുടെ സമൂഹത്തിനു വേണ്ടി പ്രവർത്തിക്കും. അത്ര തന്നെ.
